#钱包用户资产被盗 DeBot is in trouble again, and this time it's a major incident. $255,000 has been stolen, and hackers are still continuing their attacks. This isn't something that can be explained by a small vulnerability.

I've seen too many schemes like this—project teams initially assure users that the system is secure, private keys are managed and distributed by us, so users can use them with confidence. Then when something happens, they start shifting blame saying "wallet addresses are functioning normally." Listen to this wording—how familiar it sounds. The real issues are often overlooked.

What is the most dangerous point here? Private keys are distributed by the project. To be honest, this fundamentally violates the principles of self-custody. Handing your private keys over to someone else is equivalent to giving up control over your assets' life and death. No matter how reliable the project seems, single points of failure always exist.

The current situation is a vivid example—hackers have been continuously stealing, and the theft is ongoing. What does this mean? Either they haven't identified the source of the vulnerability yet, or their emergency response capabilities are lacking. In any case, user assets are bleeding continuously.

My advice is straightforward: if you're still using wallets from these kinds of projects, transfer your assets out now. Don't wait for the official "proper handling" notification, as that is often the last notice. Keep your private keys yourself—this isn't stubbornness, but a fundamental rule for surviving longer on the chain.
