San Francisco RSAC 2026, exploring the future of AI-led cybersecurity
The RSAC 2026 conference, bringing together top cybersecurity experts worldwide, will be held at the end of this month in San Francisco, with artificial intelligence (AI) expected to be a core topic. Security teams are using AI to analyze defense strategies and massive threat data, while attackers are leveraging AI to launch more sophisticated phishing attacks and exploit vulnerabilities at machine speed.
Chris Bertalan, chief analyst at theCUBE Research, pointed out that IT leaders are mainly focused on “fighting AI with AI.” As AI technology becomes more widespread, approaches to handling cyber threats are evolving, and this year’s RSAC is expected to showcase several AI-based automation technologies.
The focus of RSAC 2026 is on data integrity and resilience. Many companies are unable to fully recover after data breaches, highlighting the importance of data management and security. John Friel, senior analyst at theCUBE Research, emphasized that real-time data integrity verification and trust maintenance have become new security standards. Today’s security is shifting from merely blocking access to ensuring data trustworthiness.
Collaboration and learning are expected to be key themes of this conference. Many companies are working together to address cybersecurity challenges. Britta Glaede, senior vice president of the RSAC community, stated that this spirit of collaboration is at the heart of RSAC.
theCUBE will provide live coverage of RSAC 2026 and interview industry experts to explore the latest security trends. The conference will showcase how data and cybersecurity are deeply integrated.
