Back in 2013, Ted Jorgensen, an Arizona-based bicycle shop owner then in his late sixties, made a life-altering discovery. Through a book chronicling Jeff Bezos's rise to prominence, Jorgensen learned an unexpected truth—he was the biological father of the Amazon founder and CEO. Seeing Bezos's photographs for the first time stirred complex emotions in Jorgensen, triggering both shock and profound regret. Reflecting on his past, Jorgensen acknowledged his shortcomings: "I wasn't a good father or a good husband." Despite these painful realizations, Ted Jorgensen harbored a genuine desire to reach out and rebuild connections with the Bezos family. However, efforts to locate him for further comment proved unsuccessful, according to USA TODAY.
