He is the co-founder of AGI Villa and serves as the city leader for Datawhale, one of China’s largest open-source AI learning communities, responsible for building the local ecosystem, promoting AI technology adoption, talent development, and innovative developer collaboration models.

Since 2021, Darren has been focusing on AI infrastructure and vector databases, participating in and leading the implementation of enterprise AI innovation projects. He is one of the early practitioners in China paying attention to RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector retrieval, and enterprise knowledge base construction, continuously promoting understanding and application of these technologies in real-world scenarios.
