- Excessive worry damages the heart
- Excessive anger damages the liver
- Excessive fear damages willpower
- Excessive eating damages the spleen
- Excessive cold damages the lungs
- Excessive strain damages the kidneys
- External pathogens damage the form

The ancients long ago warned: whenever anything is taken to excess "prolonged" or "overdone," the body will eventually "sound the alarm."
