In Q2 2026, @quipnetwork will officially transition from the testnet to the mainnet production environment, marking a new phase for the project.
Quip will launch its mainnet in Q2 2026, simultaneously conducting the $QUIP token TGE.
At that time, shared quantum computing infrastructure will be fully operational and open to the global public. Each node operator (supporting CPU, GPU, ASIC, or future QPU) can contribute quantum computing resources to earn real $QUIP token rewards. Meanwhile, developers and users will be able to directly use $QUIP to pay for quantum workload fees, covering diverse applications such as AI model training, portfolio optimization, intent solving, and complex financial modeling.
Main highlights of the mainnet launch:
- $QUIP becomes the core economic engine of the network: fully responsible for key functions like computing fee payments, node incentives, peer-to-peer collateral, and on-chain governance;
- Seamless migration of post-quantum smart accounts and QUIP vaults: all existing post-quantum smart accounts and QUIP vaults will automatically be fully enabled after the mainnet launch;
- Exclusive rewards for early testnet participants: users who actively participated in the testnet using crypto wallets will be prioritized for airdrop rewards;
- Gradual implementation of cross-chain interoperability: supports secure execution of quantum-enhanced smart contracts on different chains via cross-chain locked assets, without relying on traditional bridging or custodial mechanisms, effectively reducing security risks.
This is not just an ordinary token issuance but the world’s first official creation of a decentralized quantum infrastructure layer. Using advanced post-quantum cryptography, it provides quantum-era security for billions of dollars in on-chain assets while unlocking powerful computing capabilities that traditional blockchains cannot achieve.
