Cao Cao Mobility’s betting on autonomous driving taxis and artificial intelligence to help it achieve profitability in its first year after going public.

CEO Gong Xin of Cao Cao Mobility stated that after narrowing its losses by 49% last year, the company’s goal is to achieve annual profitability by 2026. He believes that ultimately, the company is expected to capture more than 15% of the autonomous driving market share. The company began deploying autonomous taxis last year and is currently operating about 100 vehicles in Hangzhou. Gong Xin said the company plans to expand its business to five to six Chinese cities this year, deploying about 100 vehicles in each city. He added that overseas, the company plans to enter two to three new markets and launch services in Hong Kong. Gong Xin stated that Cao Cao Mobility will launch a specific autonomous taxi service model in the first half of 2026 and start mass production next year. (Sina Finance)
