One of the six major Wall Street investment banks has started buying $BTC .
Morgan Stanley, managing $1.4 trillion in assets, Morgan Stanley.
MSBT—this entity—just looking at the name alone, you might not have heard of it, but you definitely know who’s behind it. This week alone, it has just bought $83.6 million worth of BTC, with an on-chain holding value of \6440万—this isn’t a test run; this is real accumulation.
Not Grayscale. Not a BlackRock ETF. It’s directly held on-chain through an entity.
In other words, Morgan Stanley is using its own channels to bypass ETFs and directly own $BTC.
What’s the difference between the two?
An ETF is the customers’ money. Direct holding is his own money.
Buying $BTC with its own balance sheet means it believes this asset will exist long-term.
Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and BlackRock have already made moves. Now Morgan Stanley is here too.
Among the six major global investment banks, five are already laying the groundwork.
