Wintermute denies that the abnormal big dump of ACT and several other Memecoins is related to it.
According to Techub News, Wintermute founder and CEO Evgeny Gaevoy denied that today’s unusual big dump of several Memecoins, including ACT, is related to him, stating that he only reacted after the abnormal movement occurred, and that the on-chain related transactions were AMM arbitrage.
Previously, various altcoins experienced a short-term big dump, with ACT dropping over 50% in a short time; DEXE falling over 28%; DF decreasing over 17.7%. According to Arkham data, an address marked as the market maker Wintermute is selling altcoins and Memecoins, including ACT, BONK, ai16z, BONk, TST, BABYDOGE, MUBARAK, BANANA, BROCCOLI, TUT, etc.
