Techub News reports that Uniswap Labs responded to Bancor’s accusations, “The lawsuit is groundless, and we will defend ourselves accordingly. The code of the Uniswap protocol is public and has been for many years. At a time when DeFi is undergoing historic development, this is truly a waste of energy and distracts us from our focus.”
Techub News previously reported that the developers behind Bancor have filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Uniswap Labs and the Uniswap Foundation, accusing them of illegally using its underlying decentralized exchange technology, namely the Uniswap protocol built on Bancor’s patented constant product automated market maker (CPAMM) infrastructure.
