Am 24. März berichtete Bloomberg, dass der norwegische Staatsfonds durch den Einsatz von Künstlicher Intelligenz bei Handels- und Investitionsentscheidungen „Milliarden Kronen“ an Kosten eingespart hat. Diese Einsparungen werden jedoch laut dem CEO des Fonds nicht zu Entlassungen führen. Nicolai Tangen, der CEO des Fonds, sagte in einem Interview am Dienstag: „Man sollte Künstliche Intelligenz in der Gesellschaft einführen, um die Produktivität und den Wertschöpfung zu steigern, anstatt sie zur Reduzierung von Personal zu verwenden.“ Er bezeichnete solche Entlassungen auch als „zerstörerisch“.
