Quant VideoGen project implements local deployment of RTX 5090 for long video generation
AIMPACT message, April 29 (UTC+8), berkeley_ai introduced the Quant VideoGen project via tweet on April 29, 2026. The project aims to reduce the dependence of long-term video generation on large-scale computing clusters by leveraging spatiotemporal redundancy, decreasing memory usage by 7 times with almost no additional overhead, enabling the HYWorldPlay model to be deployed locally on an RTX 5090 graphics card. Currently, there are limited publicly available technical details. (Source: InFoQ)
