According to official news, Smart Layer (SLN) creates a new digital asset model through ERC-5169 and TokenScrip, establishing a new token standard for the on-chain issuance of RWA assets.
According to reports, ERC-5169 introduces front-end tokens that can change the utility of tokens to be more flexible, allowing tokens to surpass DApps and become self-referential tokens. The RWA tokens issued through the Smart Layer protocol itself are a DApp. SLN token holders can truly own the rights to assets through the protocol instead of having to go through a DApp. This will maximize the operability and practicality of RWA asset issuance and on-chain transactions, allowing users to directly operate RWA assets on the chain conveniently through tokens.
