Cardano founder reveals Hydra will be released within two weeks
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson wrote in an announcement on August 2nd, “Are you ready to launch Hydra on Rare Evo?” This teaser was released ahead of the upcoming Rare Evo blockchain and cryptocurrency conference, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, two weeks later from August 15th to 17th. Hydra is a cornerstone of Cardano’s strategy to enhance network performance. It aims to improve transaction speed by using State Channels (referred to as Hydra Heads) to facilitate off-chain transaction processing, while maintaining security measures of the Cardano main blockchain.
