High-level opening of financial markets will be advanced, and the “Bond Connect” and “Swap Connect” mechanism arrangements will continue to be optimized. Support will be provided for Shanghai International Financial Center construction, and the position of Hong Kong as an international financial center will be consolidated and elevated, safeguarding the stability and prosperous development of Hong Kong’s financial market. The role of central bank currency swap arrangements will be leveraged to facilitate the use of RMB in trade and investment, and financial institutions will be promoted to improve cross-border financial services. Infrastructure for cross-border RMB usage will be improved. More eligible overseas entities are welcomed to issue Panda Bonds.
