PANews 2月27日報道によると、決済大手のPayPalはMoonPayおよびステーブルコインプラットフォームのM0と連携し、PYUSDxを共同で発表しました。これは、PayPal USD（PYUSD）に支えられたドルに連動したステーブルコインを開発者が作成できるようにするもので、特定のアプリケーション、プラットフォーム、エコシステム内での利用を目的としています。この製品は来月正式にリリースされる予定です。
PYUSDxは、MoonPay Digital Assetsが提供するトークン化と発行のフレームワークであり、原生のPYUSDとは独立しています。開発者はこのフレームワークを利用して、ブランドカスタマイズ、クロスチェーン対応、資産の透明性を備えたステーブルコインを迅速に展開でき、ゼロから通貨インフラを構築する必要はありません。現在、DeFiプロトコルのUSD.aiは、このプラットフォーム上でAIインフラ専用のステーブルコインを構築した最初の開発者となっています。なお、PYUSDxトークンはPayPal USDとは独立しており、PayPalやVenmoのアカウントで直接使用、送信、保管することはできません。
