The official Spark Airdrop (SPK Airdrop) features multiple reward stages, including Ignition, Pre-farming, Overdrive, and Layer3. This article outlines eligibility criteria, claim procedures, and key considerations in detail, making it easy for newcomers to claim their rewards with just one click at app.spark.fi/SPK/airdrop.

Spark’s native token, SPK, is now officially live and is being distributed to users through a series of airdrop events. app.spark.fi/SPK/airdrop is the sole official claim portal; all SPK airdrop eligibility checks and claims must be carried out exclusively through this webpage.

What is the Spark Airdrop (SPK Airdrop)?

The SPK airdrop consists of several phases:

  • Pre-Farming: Based on early lending and deposit activity on SparkLend and Aave.
  • Ignition: Initial airdrop for users satisfying snapshot criteria in specified DeFi activities.
  • Overdrive: Ignition participants can stake SPK to earn extra rewards.
  • Layer3: Users can earn rewards by completing Spark community quests on the Layer3 platform.

Airdrop Phases and Claim Periods

The SPK airdrop is rolled out over multiple phases, each with distinct timelines. The Ignition phase starts June 17, 2025 and ends on July 29, 2025. This is the initial airdrop batch and users should claim early. Pre-Farming, Layer3, and Cookie.fun airdrops also begin on June 17, 2025. The claim window extends through December 17, 2025 for long-term participants. Overdrive is unlocked following Ignition and its claim deadline is also December 17, 2025. Users who stake can secure additional rewards during Overdrive. Eligible users are strongly encouraged to visit app.spark.fi/SPK/airdrop promptly to check their eligibility and claim. This helps avoid missing out.

Eligibility Criteria and Allocation Mechanisms

  • Ignition Phase: At the March 15, 2025 (UTC) snapshot date, users must have at least $5,000 in lending or staking volume across platforms such as Aave, Morpho, Fluid, Pendle, Curve, or Ethena. Multiple qualifying activities grant multiple “units”; allocations are distributed proportionally by unit count, with a total of 325,485,000 SPK distributed in this phase.
  • Pre-Farming Phase: Rewards are based on monthly lending activity on SparkLend and Aave. For Season 2, starting May 20, 2024, SparkLend allocates approximately 14,478,261 SPK per month, and Aave approximately 7,239,130 SPK per month. Shares are calculated based on total activity.
  • Overdrive Phase: After claiming in Ignition, users may stake their entire SPK allocation. Depositing at least 1,000 USDS or USDC into Spark Savings unlocks a reward boost, increasing yield potential.
  • Layer3 Quest: Earn extra SPK by completing official Spark community quests on Layer3.

How to Participate: Connect Your Wallet, View Rewards, and Claim

Visit the app.spark.fi/SPK/airdrop page.

  1. Enter your wallet address, or connect via a Web3 wallet like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.
  2. The system will display your eligibility and claimable amounts for each phase.
  3. Click “Continue” to select either “Claim without staking” or proceed to Overdrive participation.
  4. Once the on-chain transaction is confirmed, tokens will be credited to your wallet address.

Use the wallet address that was active during the eligibility period; otherwise, records may not be found and the claim may fail.

Incentive Boost Mechanism (Overdrive Boost)

  • After claiming in the Ignition phase, click “Stake SPK” to enter Overdrive.
  • If you hold at least 1,000 USDS or USDC in Spark Savings, you’ll automatically be eligible for a boost.
  • Boost rewards are drawn from unclaimed Ignition allocations. The Overdrive rewards pool is limited.

Risk Notice & Security Recommendations

  • Claim Deadlines: Ignition is open until July 29, 2025. After this, unclaimed allocations roll into Overdrive. Pre-Farming and Layer3 allocations must be claimed by December 17, 2025.
  • Security Reminder: Only use the official app.spark.fi domain—beware of phishing sites and social engineering scams.
  • Gas Fees & Network Congestion: Use Ethereum mainnet-compatible wallets. Gas fees fluctuate—anticipate potential fluctuations in gas fees.
  • Staking Decisions: Overdrive staking may increase rewards. It also involves the risk of token lockup.

Conclusion

The SPK airdrop from Spark presents a major opportunity for users to earn rewards, take part in governance, and boost their yields. From early lending and snapshot events to completing community quests, all eligible users should claim their tokens as soon as possible via the official portal. Strategic staking and boosts can optimize returns. app.spark.fi/SPK/airdrop remains the only authorized gateway for claiming SPK.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.

DePIN Identity Network and Real World Applications: How Humanity Protocol Brings on-chain Identity Into the Physical World

Most Web3 identity systems remain confined to on-chain environments and struggle to achieve meaningful adoption in real world settings. Through a DePIN architecture and physical verification hardware, Humanity Protocol aims to bring decentralized identity into access control systems, hospitality, public services, and offline events, allowing on-chain identity to function not just as a digital credential, but as foundational infrastructure for real world access.

The ve(3,3) Flywheel Explained: How AERO Tokenomics Powers Aerodrome’s DeFi Economy

In the competition for DeFi liquidity, high-inflation mining alone is no longer enough to build lasting advantages. Aerodrome applies the ve(3,3) economic model to redesign token emissions, voting mechanisms, and revenue distribution, creating a liquidity flywheel centered on governance and cash flow. This article examines AERO tokenomics, the veAERO locking mechanism, and protocol revenue models to explain how Aerodrome builds a sustainable DeFi economic system.

Aerodrome Tokenomics: How ve(3,3) Powers Base's Most Profitable DEX

AERO is the native token of Aerodrome Finance, a core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol in the Base ecosystem. It is primarily used for liquidity incentives and ecosystem operations. veAERO is a governance NFT that users receive by locking AERO, representing both voting power and the right to share protocol revenue. Through a dual track structure of AERO as a utility token and veAERO as a governance credential, Aerodrome separates liquidity usage value from long term governance power, allowing participants to act as liquidity providers, governance decision makers, and revenue sharers within the same system.

Aster vs Hyperliquid: Which Perp DEX Will Prevail?

Aster and Hyperliquid are the two representative protocols of the "purpose-built L1 path" within the current decentralized perpetual exchange (Perp DEX) sector. As a pioneer in the field, Hyperliquid has built a deep liquidity moat through its highly mature order book architecture and strong community consensus. Conversely, Aster, as a rising challenger, seeks to leapfrog the competition in high-performance trading through more aggressive multi-chain aggregation logic, private transaction modules, and an underlying execution environment optimized for 2026 market demands.
