We have an exciting update today!
From May 24 to 25, 2025, Istanbul Gelisim University hosted the first Minima community hackathon, thanks to the strong support of @Baran Akilli and @Monthie.
The two-day event brought together 7 teams of 3-5 computer science students, including one from Iran. During the event, they conducted a one-day workshop and nearly 10 hours of programming.
This event focused on showcasing the powerful features of the mini application system—it might be the most user-friendly development system in the blockchain field today. Even with just one day of the workshop, students were still able to create amazing mini applications.
The teams gave精彩的演示 in the auditorium, showcasing some excellent works, such as:
> - The first prize winner Link2Me has built a P2P dating/socializing application on the Minima blockchain, utilizing on-chain fees to achieve serverless interactions.
> - The second prize winner Mini-Tetris features an on-chain leaderboard and plans to set up a prize pool.
> - Third prize winner Notely provides a decentralized news platform, publishing articles through the Maxima platform and facilitating on-chain payments.
