Based on the current short-term (2H) structure of $BTC ,$ETH , $LINK and $ADA , opening a new position at this stage requires caution and selectivity, rather than aggressive execution.
Following the sharp post-CPI correction, the market has entered a phase of weak technical rebound. Prices bounced from local lows but were quickly rejected near the EMA10–EMA30 zone, suggesting that buying pressure lacks conviction and is largely driven by short covering or tactical relief moves. RSI across these assets remains in the neutral-to-weak range (40–50), without clear bullish divergence, while MACD is still negative or only beginning to compress—insufficient to confirm a trend reversal.
In this environment, chasing longs offers poor risk-to-reward, while initiating shorts near short-term lows carries the risk of a deeper bounce. A more prudent approach is to remain on the sidelines and wait for clearer confirmation through one of two scenarios:
1. Price forms a higher low and reclaims EMA30 with volume confirmation, favoring a potential long setup.
2. Price fails to sustain rebounds and gets rejected at resistance, presenting a higher-probability short opportunity.
At this point, patience itself is a position.
