Although ETH's 2025 price performance did not meet market expectations, RAAC founder Kevin Rusher pointed out that focusing only on price overlooks more important trends—ETH is experiencing accelerated institutional adoption, which could lead to unexpected growth in 2026.
Currently, ETH's price has rebounded above $3,050, but Rusher emphasized that its real growth drivers come from institutional applications in stablecoins, tokenized assets, and payment methods.
ETH accounts for over 62% of the stablecoin issuance market, with a total value surpassing $59 billion. In the field of tokenized assets, ETH also dominates the market, carrying approximately $12.5 billion in real-world assets, accounting for over 65%, far higher than other public chains. Capital flows also confirm this trend: funds flowing into ETH in 2025 doubled, while BTC's capital inflow halved.
Additionally, enterprise-level stablecoin payments on ETH continue to grow, demonstrating its increasingly solidified position in payment infrastructure.

Rusher summarized that institutions are rapidly adopting the ETH ecosystem, laying the foundation for its future growth. BitMine Chairman Tom Lee is also optimistic about ETH, predicting its price could reach $7,000–$9,000 in early 2026.
Although ETH's price in 2025 appears somewhat weak, its practical adoption and ecological expansion in key areas are steadily progressing, which may gradually translate into strong price performance in 2026.
