The legal saga surrounding Mark Cuban’s involvement with Voyager Digital has finally come to an end. On December 30, U.S. District Judge Roy K. Altman from the Southern District of Florida threw out the entire class-action lawsuit that had targeted both Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks organization.

Investors had accused the billionaire entrepreneur and his basketball team of making misleading claims about Voyager Digital before the crypto lending platform collapsed and filed for bankruptcy protection in 2022. The legal team at Brown Rudnick argued that the case against their clients violated multiple state securities laws and consumer protection statutes, which ultimately proved convincing to the court.

This dismissal marks a significant relief for Mark Cuban, who faced substantial legal exposure over his public promotion of the now-defunct lending platform.
