A certain exchange recently launched an interesting presale rule — the project can only be started once the target amount is raised. Until then, liquidity is completely locked, and participants cannot trade. Currently, there are two projects on the platform using this mechanism.

Take $BLFY as an example. This project currently has the largest market cap among similar projects, but the wallet distribution is somewhat messy, with retail holdings being quite dispersed. Locking liquidity is basically a gamble on whether it can run after going live. Does the scattered distribution of wallets in BLFY suggest it has no utility? I think it's questionable.

Locking liquidity is basically just a new disguise for scamming retail investors. Just by looking at wallet distribution, you can tell how deep the water is. How strong is the pump effort? Is the butterfly's group-hug atmosphere intense? I think it's more like a gathering place for bagholders haha. The official can't even clearly explain the purpose, so why should we trust it? I really don't understand this pre-sale mechanism. Why does it have to be locked to play? Retail investors rush in together, and in the end, only they know who loses. Why isn't the target quota setting afraid of crashing the market? Wait, the liquidity is only unlocked after the financing line is crossed? Isn't that just a big gamble?

Liquidity locking is basically just a different way of playing the casino; retail investors are still the same group of retail investors. Butterfly is indeed a bit suspicious; the more intense the group mentality, the more cautious you should be.

ah here we go again... locked liquidity until target hit? this is literally the 2017 playbook with a fresh coat of paint. $BLFY wallet distribution looking "dirty" is just academic speak for "whales stacked before retail even knew what hit em"
