XRP has recently experienced an interesting turning point. The current price is oscillating between $2.08 and $2.16, with a 24-hour decline of 7.53%, but this is mainly a normal reaction to short-term profit-taking and market volatility. More notably, XRP has gained a total of 18.5% since the beginning of the year, and the recent correction is just a part of that upward trend.

From a capital perspective, the US spot XRP ETF has performed remarkably well. To date, it has attracted a total inflow of $1.37 billion, with $478 million flowing in just in December 2025 alone, indicating sustained confidence from institutional investors. Traditional financial institutions like Standard Chartered Bank are also paying attention to this asset and have set a target price of $8 by August 2026, which is a positive signal for long-term holders.

On the technical side, the daily chart shows a bullish "descending wedge breakout" pattern, which typically indicates a rebound is coming. The price has successfully broken through the key range of $2.05-$2.10. The short-term support level is set at $2.10 (the previous breakout level has now turned into support). If the price can stabilize at this level, the next resistance is around $2.35 (the 200-day moving average). Once it stabilizes above this resistance line, the targets of $2.60-$2.70 are within reach.

Overall, the 24-hour decline does not alter the medium-term upward trend. Continuous institutional capital inflows and positive technical signals both support the future price movement.

Institutional funds are coming in, and it's a different story. $1.37 billion is no small amount, and an $8 target price isn't just talk. --- Another descending wedge pattern, and technical indicators are also bullish. Is it still possible for the price to rise with the same old tricks? --- Honestly, this wave of correction doesn't scare me. Compared to the 18.5% annual increase, these fluctuations are nothing. --- Standard Chartered is also optimistic about XRP? Traditional finance starting to get involved is indeed a signal. --- Staying steady at $2.1 is good, don't let it fall below support again and give me a chance to cut losses. --- As long as institutional buying continues, I’ll be reassured. That’s the real confidence. --- Every time, they talk about a wedge breakout, but why does it still oscillate and cause turbulence? --- Waiting to see $2.35. Breaking through would be a sign of takeoff. --- ETFs have absorbed $478 million in a month, indicating big players are positioning themselves. --- Still daring to buy the dip now? Feels like the moment is just within reach.

Institutions are buying crazily, and I'm still hesitating over what the heck.

Standard Chartered 8 bucks? Then I'll just lie flat and wait, anyway the ETFs are pouring money in like crazy.

Institutional inflows of 1.37 billion still dropped by 7%? This pace is quite interesting.
