#密码资产动态追踪 The longer you stay in the crypto world, the more you realize a harsh reality: often, losing money isn't about not trying hard enough, but about choosing the wrong path from the start.

Beginners often fall into the same misconception—thinking that thorough research can reduce losses. The result? Continuously stacking indicators into the system. Moving averages, volume, funding rates... layer after layer, while the account gets thinner and thinner.

It's called progress on the surface, but in reality, it's just using complexity to cover up the real issue—lack of execution.

Today, I ponder the AI concept; tomorrow, I focus on the MEME trend. Switching targets and trading logic several times a week. Claiming to optimize strategies, but deep down, unwilling to admit that the last trade was a mistake. The cost of switching? Diluted mistakes, making wounds seem less deep, but the money in the account is truly gone.

It took me years to realize—I, too, lost money for years before understanding—that most retail traders' problems aren't about choosing the wrong direction, but about having too many options.

Later, I started doing subtraction. Cutting out all the fancy stuff, leaving only a minimal logic: single asset + trend following + swing trading. It sounds ridiculously simple, but the actual results are surprisingly stable.

It all boils down to these three principles:

**First, focus on one coin.** Choose either BTC or ETH, don’t look everywhere. Retail traders without informational advantages, your only edge is focus. Spend months watching one coin, and you'll understand its temperament better than most.

**Second, follow the trend.** When the trend is up, go long; when it's down, go short. No bottom fishing, no guessing tops. Trends don’t require your understanding; they require your obedience.

**Third, break down your position.** Start with a very small amount to test the waters. Once the direction is confirmed, gradually add. Take profits in batches, and exit immediately if you judge you've made a mistake. The final outcome isn’t determined by win rate but by the structure of your trades.

Last year, I knew a beginner who started with $6,000, had no insider info, never held heavy positions, and followed this logic—trend following, waiting for the right moment, strict execution. In less than a month, his account grew to $21,000. That’s not luck; it’s the power of disciplined compound interest.

Many people can’t learn this method because it’s too boring—it requires patience to hold cash, acceptance of failure, and giving up the dream of overnight riches.

In the crypto world, it’s never the most brainless who get eliminated, but those who can’t control themselves, can’t stop their hands.

When you’re willing to entrust the market with complexity and keep simplicity for yourself, you truly stand in the position of “survivor.”

Honestly, just controlling your hand is enough to discourage 99% of people.

That's so true, it's just easy to get itchy hands. I feel uneasy if I don't trade for a day.

Another story of "I lost money for years before understanding," sounds good, but retail investors are most likely to fall into the trap when hearing this kind of talk.

This statement is true; inability to stop is the real fatal flaw.

That hits too close to home. I'm the kind of person who can't resist and switches coins three times a week...
