Recently on Twitter, it's all about 'Self-Media Account Creation Secrets' and 'Fan Monetization Guides'. Upon closer inspection, it's the same old story—promises of gaining 100,000 followers in 7 days or earning five figures a month. It's just a rebranded version of the 'village woman live-streaming sales' tactics from back then. Under the guise of 'Sharing Success Experiences', it's actually just fishing for victims before harvesting their gains. Every time I come across this kind of content, I immediately block the account. Don't ask why; there are just too many scammers like this. One exists, and so does the second; it's impossible to guard against all of them.

This set of scripts has been circulating for at least ten years. Switching platforms just changes the surface, but the underlying incentive mechanisms haven't changed. The problem is—there's no mandatory information disclosure mechanism, and those claiming to earn "five figures a month" have no cost to disclose failure rate data. If those "shareholders" could truly institutionalize their historical performance transparency, such issues would naturally collapse. But right now, it's an excellent breeding ground for information asymmetry.

It's the same old trick, really annoying. 100,000 followers gained in 7 days? Haha. --- Same old routine, still using this move to scam people. --- Block +1, not letting any of them go. --- What era are we in that people still brag about these? Laughing to death. --- It's obviously a new bottle with old wine, brother. The tactics are too deep. --- As soon as I see posts like this, I know what kind of trash is coming next. --- I'm fed up, one post gets blocked, another one appears, endless. --- Monthly income in the five figures? I haven't seen these people really making money.

Uh... if only I had been less cautious back then, and gotten in earlier with those promises of gaining followers in 7 days, maybe I would already be earning five figures a month now, huh? (laughs until tears) It's really just the same old trick, these people are all full of outdated routines.

ngl the whole "7 days to 100k followers" playbook is mathematically impossible once you actually run the numbers... yet somehow people keep falling for it. classic repackaging of old grifts, empirically speaking.
