Recently, I’ve been learning about the Walrus project. To be honest, I didn’t pay much attention at first, but the more I look into it, the more I feel this thing is seriously undervalued.

Right now, the entire Web3 space is frantically stacking applications and concept marketing, but if you really think about it—who has genuinely addressed the fundamental question of how data can securely and permanently survive on the chain? Walrus has taken this as its main contradiction. Focusing on "how data can exist long-term and securely on the chain"—this pragmatic approach is actually quite rare in Web3.

Also, the $WAL token isn’t designed for hype or speculation; it’s entirely centered around incentivizing the network’s actual operation. From another perspective, this doesn’t look like a short-term marketing game but rather like building real infrastructure. I now see projects like Walrus as long-term foundational development, not just chasing hot trends. Infrastructure projects like these are often unnoticed at first, but once they’re needed, they tend to have a long lifecycle.

Really, everyone turns a blind eye to data storage, constantly thinking about creating concepts to cut leeks. The Walrus idea is indeed clear-headed. Infrastructure is boring to death, but it's the most profitable when making money... How long can early investors hold on? I need to study the $WAL design logic further, but just from the incentive mechanism, it doesn't seem like a get-rich-quick scheme; there's something there. These pragmatic projects are often underestimated, but once they take off, they can't be stopped. Most people are still watching the fun, while those who understand have already jumped on board. That's the information gap.

The chip distribution shows that major players are quietly lurking, but does such low enthusiasm really mean anything... The pattern has formed; now it's just a matter of whether subsequent actions can release the risk.

Data storage is indeed a black hole that has been overlooked. Walrus wants to take this seriously, and I respect that. --- Honestly, the Web3 crowd keeps hyping concepts every day, but no one is thinking about how to make data truly sustainable. --- Infrastructure is always the kind of thing that early on is overlooked, but it becomes indispensable when needed. --- $WAL's token model doesn't rely on hype; instead, it focuses on practicality. This approach is quite rare in the crypto space. --- It's not surprising that Walrus is underestimated; after all, it's not easy to package it through marketing. --- In the long term, grassroots projects related to infrastructure won't die once the ecosystem needs them. --- The problem of permanent on-chain data survival is one that very few projects dare to tackle.

Seriously considering data storage, there aren't many in Web3, and I have to admit that Walrus's approach is quite unique. Honestly, not just following the hype and focusing on building infrastructure seriously makes us an outlier in the crypto world. Infrastructure projects like this are often overlooked in the beginning, but when the need arises, they become the King. The logic behind $WAL is very clear. To be honest, compared to those who are constantly marketing and creating hype, I find Walrus more reliable. I believe it's undervalued, but I'm just worried it might be undervalued for too long haha.
