When major platforms integrate native crypto trading, you have to ask: is this the breakthrough moment or just hype?
The reality is nuanced. On one hand, seamless in-app trading removes friction—no wallet setup, no bridge hopping, no wallet address confusion. That's genuinely useful for mainstream adoption. On the other hand, centralized exchange models come with their own tradeoffs: custodial risk, compliance overhead, and less transparency than on-chain alternatives.
What matters most is execution. Does the platform actually make transactions smooth? Are fees reasonable? How solid is their security infrastructure? If they nail these basics, we could see real traction—not because it's revolutionary, but because it's convenient.
The market will decide. Early adoption metrics will tell us whether this is a genuine shift toward Web3 accessibility or just another feature that quietly fades away.
