#私钥与钱包安全漏洞 The issue with the Trust Wallet browser extension vulnerability must be taken seriously. $7 million was lost, and 2,630 claim applications are still being processed, indicating that a significant number of users were affected.

This incident clearly reminds us: before participating in any project interactions, wallet security must be the first line of defense. How exactly to do that? First, keep your frequently used interaction wallets separate from wallets holding large amounts of funds, so that even if the interaction wallet is compromised, losses are limited; second, regularly update your official wallet version and avoid using outdated versions; third, when authorizing operations, carefully verify the contract address and confirm that the source is official.

My advice is that no matter how attractive a new project is, safety comes first. Use a small test wallet to run through the process first, and only consider large transactions after confirming everything is fine. Trust Wallet has already started the full compensation process, but the waiting period is long. Preventive measures beforehand are more efficient. Keeping your wallet secure is the way to go further in the crypto space.
