An counterintuitive perspective

If you want to live comfortably, you need to "say but not necessarily do"
Instead of always following through on your words. If you feel
that you have been at a disadvantage with a promise you made,
you can choose not to fulfill
your own commitment.
And you shouldn't feel
any guilt about it,
nor should you feel sorry to anyone.
This is the famous "consistency trap" in psychology.
Don't keep making mistakes on wrong promises.
The only constant in this world is change.
No one can always follow through on their words.
