Safe return to the country! "Ping An 24" swiftly assists customers stranded in the Middle East

Recently, the situation in the Middle East has rapidly changed. For clients stranded in the “danger zone” of the Middle East, the Ping An 24 team, relying on Ping An’s global emergency rescue service network, successfully helped two clients return safely from the war zone, protecting their lives and property with concrete actions.

It is understood that the companies of the two clients evacuated from the Middle East had purchased Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance’s “Ping An 24” outbound safety comprehensive protection. The two originally planned to fly back home from the United Arab Emirates (near Iran), but due to the conflict, commercial flights were interrupted, and they were forced to stay. After receiving the evacuation request, the Ping An 24 service team immediately activated the global emergency rescue mechanism, integrating multiple resources to handle route planning, security escort, border coordination, and ticket rebooking, providing end-to-end assistance to safely transfer the clients from the dangerous Middle Eastern area back to China.

To address the safety challenges faced by Chinese nationals abroad, Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance pioneered the launch of “Ping An 24” outbound safety comprehensive protection, offering medical and security services before, during, and after travel. It covers various emergency scenarios such as war, riots, terrorist attacks, kidnapping, hijacking, and natural disasters, redefining overseas safety protection standards.

Unlike traditional insurance products that only pay after a claim, “Ping An 24” adheres to the philosophy of “providing services even when no claim occurs,” continuously promoting proactive services and full-cycle risk management. Specifically, “Ping An 24” follows the principle of “prevention is better than rescue, rescue is better than compensation,” prioritizing risk prevention and providing rescue first, then claims. Before travel, risk prevention is enabled through technology, with destination risk information and travel advisories sent in advance; in case of emergency, support includes one-click alarm, and the use of location devices for precise positioning; rapid claims processing is also implemented to ensure comprehensive overseas safety.

A responsible person from “Ping An 24” stated that before the recent military conflict, the service team issued high-risk alerts as early as January 12, proactively sent warning information to clients in the region, conducted risk assessments, and coordinated evacuation resources to ensure timely rescue services. As of March 5, the “Ping An 24” team had issued 66 risk alerts and published 30 risk analysis reports. The person also revealed that “Ping An 24” received requests from five Chinese companies for assistance in evacuating from the dangerous areas in the Middle East and is accelerating the development of evacuation plans.

Behind the rapid rescue efforts is a global medical and rescue service network. Relying on Ping An’s worldwide emergency rescue network, “Ping An 24” collaborates with top global medical and security rescue organizations, establishing eight operational centers worldwide, supporting over 70 languages, and serving more than 230 countries and regions. Based on this, “Ping An 24” has built an efficient response mechanism, with a rescue hotline responding within 10 seconds and claims processed within an hour, providing professional and efficient services to safeguard individuals abroad.

Data shows that “Ping An 24” has protected nearly 10,000 enterprises and nearly one million outbound travelers, completing multiple cross-border evacuation cases.

In May 2025, Mr. Jin’s family reported to Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance after he suddenly developed acute encephalitis in Jakarta. Due to being abroad and limited local medical resources, the “Ping An 24” rescue team coordinated online consultations with authoritative domestic experts, client representatives, and family members. After confirming the patient’s condition met transfer criteria, they immediately initiated a medical charter flight transfer process. From the time of the report to the completion of transfer, it took less than 48 hours. The patient was successfully out of danger, with medical transfer costs covered and reimbursed by Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance.

In June 2025, the conflict between Israel and Palestine erupted, posing high safety risks for Chinese enterprises in the region. The “Ping An 24” rescue team assisted clients in completing a safe evacuation within six hours, including vehicle deployment, route planning through conflict zones, and border clearance coordination. Over ten days, they helped 14 companies evacuate 74 stranded Chinese citizens from the Israel-Palestine danger zone safely.

When insurance is no longer just a “compensation” contract but becomes a partner in risk management and a protector of life and property, it truly embodies warmth and strength.
