People’s Financial News, March 12 — On March 11, Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as “GAMECO”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Foshan Lighting. At the same time, the Joint Innovation Center for Civil Aircraft Lighting Systems and Equipment was inaugurated. The two parties will leverage an innovation consortium to focus on aerospace lighting, collaborating on innovation in areas such as aircraft maintenance, design modifications, and component manufacturing. The key areas of work include: first, strictly aligning with international airworthiness standards to jointly develop design, testing, validation, and certification for civil aircraft lighting systems; second, establishing and improving an aerospace quality management and airworthiness management system that complies with standards like AS9100, laying a solid foundation for large-scale, standardized production of aerospace lighting products; third, creating regular mechanisms for joint project research and talent exchange to jointly cultivate a professional workforce.
