She will hold a fan meet-and-greet at ComplexCon Hong Kong (Conversations) on March 21. As one of Hong Kong’s annual major events, it turns out that ComplexCon Hong Kong is connected to a listed Hong Kong company.

“Sister” Regina Ip will sign personalized cards + one-on-one hi-bye at the meet-and-greet

The organizers stated that “Sister Regina” Regina Ip will meet fans and netizens up close at ComplexCon. Participants will have the chance to receive a secret, unreleased photo card signed by her and a one-on-one hi-bye session after the event.

In recent years, Regina Ip has posted cheongsam photos on social media during festivals, which have become internet hot topics, making her a social media celebrity in politics. The nickname “Sister” or “Ye Liu Sister” has also become her online alias. ComplexCon Hong Kong organized by GEM-listed Huameilele, boosting revenue significantly

This is the third time ComplexCon has been held in Hong Kong. Originating in the United States in 2016, ComplexCon was founded by the well-known street culture media “Complex,” aiming to create a top-tier carnival that gathers street culture, fashion, sneakers, art, music, and technology.

Notably, ComplexCon Hong Kong is organized by Complex China, a division of Huameilele (08429), which is listed on GEM. In 2024, Huameilele partnered with Complex Network to co-host ComplexCon Hong Kong. The company described 2024 as a “year of transformation.” According to annual reports, thanks to the contribution from ComplexCon Hong Kong, Huameilele’s revenue from content media and experiential services surged 2.5 times year-on-year to about HKD 54.8 million. This segment’s contribution increased from about 29% to nearly 60%, leading to a 70.3% overall revenue growth to approximately HKD 91.5 million. However, due to substantial investments, the company’s net loss widened by 70% to about HKD 10.3 million.

By the first half of 2025, Huameilele reported that ComplexCon Hong Kong helped the company’s content media and experiential services revenue grow 13.6% year-on-year to about HKD 55.7 million, accounting for 80.5% of total revenue, which increased 4.3% to HKD 69.3 million. As a result of improved financial performance from ComplexCon Hong Kong, last year’s first-half loss was significantly reduced by 86.4% to about HKD 9 million.
