Beijing Business Daily News (Reporter Tao Feng, Wang Tianyi) announced on March 13 that Apple Inc. will adjust the commission rates for the China mainland App Store’s iOS and iPadOS starting March 15, 2026.

According to the plan, the standard commission rate for in-app purchases and paid apps will decrease from 30% to 25%; the commission for eligible apps under the App Store Small Business Program, Mini Program Partner Program, and for auto-renewing subscriptions after the first year will decrease from 15% to 12%. This adjustment does not require developers to sign new agreements in advance and will take effect automatically from March 15.

Apple stated that it will continue to build a high-quality app ecosystem for Chinese developers, offering fair and transparent terms and competitive rates not higher than those in other markets.
