Abstract generation in progress

Guangxi Pingnan County Joint Investigation Team announced on March 13: In response to media reports that products labeled as “Xiaoxiao” produced by Guangxi Shian Biotechnology Co., Ltd. are suspected of illegal additives, our county attaches great importance. We immediately established a joint investigation team composed of market supervision, public security, and other departments, and dispatched them to the involved company to conduct a comprehensive investigation and verification. The follow-up will be handled strictly according to laws and regulations based on the investigation results, and the findings will be promptly disclosed to the public. Our county always prioritizes public health, and we will thoroughly investigate without leniency. We welcome supervision from all sectors of society.

According to previous reports by The Paper, shadow investigation teams found through undercover investigations and testing that some “Xiaoxiao” anti-itch creams labeled as purely plant-extracted actually contain illegal additives such as hormones and drugs. Some children’s anti-itch creams were also not spared. For example, Guangxi Shian Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was penalized for producing “Xian Ai Baby Special Anti-Itch Cream” and “Snail Baby Cream,” which were found to contain illegal hormones and drugs. However, these illegally added drug ingredients have all “disappeared” from the product instructions.
