SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ – In addition, through a government-led export promotion program, Bstarcom has been matched with Ministry of Defense in Poland and is scheduled to deliver its hybrid counter-drone system, the “3-in-1,” to Poland in July.
The demonstration is part of the “East Shield” project, which aims to establish counter-drone systems along the Poland–Belarus border. A global tender under NATO supervision is scheduled for the first half of 2027, with a total project budget estimated at approximately KRW 2.5 trillion. Major global counter-drone companies are expected to compete.
Bstarcom was recognized for its technological capabilities during a new technology seminar with the Ministry of Defense in Poland in July 2025 and was subsequently selected as a final participating company in December of the same year. With strong expertise in soft-kill solutions, the company plans to focus on the Electronic Warfare (EW) sector during the upcoming demonstration. Additional rounds of combat demonstrations are expected to follow.
Meanwhile, Bstarcom recently supplied a vehicle-mounted version of its hybrid “3-in-1” system to the Republic of Korea Marine Corps by modifying a Kia-based command vehicle. The company expects growing global demand for counter-drone systems across various vehicle platforms and plans to focus on developing modular system configurations.
