Iran announces: Has attacked a US oil tanker
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran today (March 12) claimed to have attacked the American oil tanker “Safiyeh,” flying the Marshall Islands flag, for ignoring warnings from the IRGC Navy. The IRGC also stated that oil tankers and ships operating in the Strait of Hormuz should understand that such insecurity is the result of the United States’ brutal aggression in the region.
