India Requests China to Relax Urea Export Restrictions Due to Hormuz Strait Closure; Foreign Ministry Responds
On March 13, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun hosted a routine press conference. A Reuters reporter asked whether China would seriously consider India’s request to relax urea export restrictions to help compensate for supply losses caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, given the recent improvement in diplomatic relations between the two countries.
“This is a question you should direct to the relevant Chinese authorities,” Guo Jiakun said.
