Iran's Deputy Health Minister: Over 1,255 people have died in Iran in the past 9 days

According to reports from the Middle East, Iranian Deputy Minister of Health Ali Jafariyan said in an interview that over the past nine days, more than 1,255 people have died and 12,000 have been injured in Iran. Jafariyan stated that the victims’ ages range from 8 months to 88 years old, including 200 women and 168 children from a primary school in Minab city in southern Iran. The data provided by Jafariyan slightly differs from previous statistics from the Iranian Red Crescent Society. Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Iravani, previously stated that, according to the latest data from the Iranian Red Crescent Society, attacks by the United States and Israel have caused the deaths of 1,332 Iranians.
