I have a friend who talks about AI with great authority and expertise, frequently throwing out obscure terminology. But then another friend who knows him very well told me that he doesn't actually understand any of it—he's just reciting scripts. The only way he uses AI in a big way is: asking it how to make people think he's knowledgeable about AI, basically trying to fake expertise. 😶‍🌫️ I don't get what's so impressive about faking understanding of AI, but I was genuinely shocked. 🙃
