Cardi B Accidentally Drenches Fan At Concert, Says Sorry On Social Media
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) In 2023, Cardi B threw a microphone during a concert after a member of the audience splashed her, sparking outrage and an investigation. This time, the boot was clearly on the other foot. And the story had a happy ending.
On March 4, when the American rapper was performing at Houston during her Little Miss Drama Tour, she poured water on her neck mid-concert and flung the half-empty bottle into the crowd, drenching a fan and upsetting her hairdo

Footage of the incident went immensely popular on social media.
An Instagram user, @labellepatrice, who shared the video, captioned it, “When you got your hair done yesterday, but Cardi B accidentally throws water on you.” The post has been raked in 2.6 million views till date.
The star-struck user, however, can be seen rejoicing, as she raises her hands and smiles.
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, responded quickly.
“Sorry friend…I’m mad at myself cause wat happen if you was going to the club…,” the Up, WAP and Bodak Yellow hitmaker replied.
“It’s okay girl. Amazing show,” the fan replied.
The incident highlighted a gentle side of the rapper, who seemed genuinely concerned about her actions.
Cardi is currently on her Little Miss Drama Tour in support of her second studio album, Am I The Drama?, which kicked off on February 11, 2026, in California.
This isn’t the first time such incidents have occurred at Cardi B’s concerts.
In 2023, while performing in Las Vegas, the rapper asked the crowd to splash water on her amid the soaring heat. When someone threw a cup with ice and an unknown substance, she hurled the mic back at him, which hit another person. The latter filed a police complaint, which kickstarted a criminal battery investigation.
The police later dropped the investigation as they concluded she didn’t commit a criminal charge, the entertainment news portal TMZ reported.
The rapper welcomed her fourth child earlier this year, her first with her boyfriend, the National Football League star Stefon Diggs. She shares three kids with her estranged husband, the rapper Offset.
