Sina Tech News, March 13 — The Yu Hao Charity Foundation announced the launch of the “U35 Young Scientists” program, targeting young scientists under 35 years old globally (women under 38), focusing on cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields such as aerospace, earth sciences, astronomy, biomedical sciences, and artificial intelligence. The evaluation criteria are “cutting-edge, long-term, and potential,” with each selected participant receiving up to 500,000 RMB in independent research funding. Additionally, the foundation will leverage diverse industry resources and the global academic ecosystem to build an efficient support platform for young scientists.

The first phase of the program will collaborate with Tsinghua University, with the list of selected candidates expected to be announced in April 2026. Over the next five years, the Yu Hao Charity Foundation will continue to invest dedicated funds, selecting a group of outstanding young scientists each year, and gradually partnering with the top 20 universities and leading research institutions worldwide to support the growth of young research talents and promote human civilization and social progress.
