I saw many posts on X from young girls documenting interactions and conversations with their "owners" that are basically straight out of the PUA playbook… I want to say that BDSM actually has a high barrier to entry. If done wrong, it can easily become a shield for PUA tactics, allowing someone to vent and gratify themselves behind the guise of a relationship while inflicting serious psychological damage on the other person… A healthy relationship should be grounded in deep equality, not endless emotional labor exploitation and psychological manipulation. I empathize and it's heartbreaking to see.
