MiniMed expands sensor portfolio in Europe with CE Mark for MiniMed™ 780G system with the Instinct sensor, made by Abbott

MiniMed announced it has received CE Mark approval in Europe for its MiniMed™ 780G system to be used with the Instinct sensor, made by Abbott. This expansion allows users of the advanced automated insulin delivery system to choose between 7-day and 15-day wear sensors. The Instinct sensor is noted as the world’s smallest and thinnest integrated CGM and will be commercially launched in European countries this summer.
