Japanese companies NTT Docomo and NTT have expanded their 6G collaboration by adding SK Telecom and Rohde & Schwarz as new partners. These new additions join existing collaborators like Fujitsu, NEC, Nokia, Ericsson, and Keysight Technologies to conduct trials for future 6G systems. The ongoing research includes using AI for radio interfaces and developing wireless-sensing solutions, with commercial 6G networks anticipated around 2030.
