# Has Everyone Noticed?
Since the New Year this year, I've clearly felt that everyone around me has changed their mindset.
Previously, when we gathered together, we talked about making money, discussing projects, and development. Now, it's all about wellness, health checkups, early sleep, and exercise — health has quietly become everyone's top priority.
I thought this was just a consensus among us middle-aged people, but when I visited Beijing recently and chatted with some young women from brands, I discovered they're even more enlightened than us. Post-95s and Gen Z are already incorporating health into their life planning early on — buying supplements, drinking wellness tea, going to the gym regularly. It's no longer "wellness when you're old," but rather investing in their bodies from a young age.
I joked that they're aiming to live to 100? How did those workaholics shouting slogans about work two years ago suddenly become zen about wellness?
Many friends have already learned how to adjust themselves. During economic upturns, everyone pushes harder, competes on speed and returns; during downturns, everyone turns inward, refocusing on themselves. They take care of their bodies and maintain a balanced mindset.
I personally place great emphasis on health. Many friends who see me feel that my energy is outstanding. I say I truly prioritize my body now — not just me, but most middle-aged friends around me have shifted from putting career first to putting health first.
During the New Year gatherings, people exchanged gifts — all health supplements now. When dining out, everyone chooses healthy ingredients. We've all returned to pursuing the three core elements of health:
Eat well, sleep well, maintain a good mood, reduce stress — that's the standard for health.
