Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick launches robotics venture Atoms

Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick has launched a new robotics startup called Atoms Inc., which will leverage assets from his previous company City Storage Systems and acquire autonomous driving startup Pronto AI Inc. Atoms aims to develop specialized robots for restaurants, logistics, and mining sectors, focusing on automating tasks with productive machines rather than humanoid robots.
