BlackRock's head of digital assets, Robert Mitchnick, stated that despite an increasing number of structurally complex crypto ETF products appearing in the market, BlackRock will adopt a more cautious strategy and will not engage in excessive "heterogeneous" innovations in ETF structures. BlackRock launched the staking-based Ethereum ETF iShares Staked Ethereum Trust (ETHB) this week, with first-day trading volume of approximately $15.5 million and net inflows of approximately $43.5 million. Previously, its spot Ethereum ETF ETHA has accumulated inflows of approximately $12 billion since its launch in July 2024, while Bitcoin ETF IBIT has accumulated inflows exceeding $63 billion since its listing in January 2024.
