Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 16, According to 36Kr, Tencent’s “Lobster Attack Team” recently gave an interview to the media, responding to many questions about its AI Agent product lineup. Tencent has launched several “Lobster” products around the open-source framework OpenClaw, including WorkBuddy, QClaw, Lighthouse, and SkillHub. CEO Ma Huateng revealed that they will also launch series products such as self-developed Lobster, Local Lobster, Cloud Lobster, and Enterprise Lobster.

Ding Ning, head of Tencent Cloud Developer AI products, stated that WorkBuddy is a closed-source product with an embedded sandbox mechanism and multiple security layers. It only affects user-specified folders, effectively avoiding risks like API key leaks. Zhong Yucheng, director of Tencent Light Cloud, admitted that the popularity of Lobster indeed exceeds its actual capabilities. Currently, it cannot achieve a “one-person company,” but for users without technical backgrounds, Lobster remains the easiest way to experience AI changes.

Previously, Tencent’s offline event “Stall Help Build Lobster” held at the headquarters building unexpectedly went viral. Over 500 people completed installations in a single day. The event attracted various groups, including retired engineers over 60 and mothers pushing strollers. About 80% of participants had non-technical backgrounds.
