TechCrunch reports that on March 10, Beijing time, Bloomberg announced that another senior executive at Tesla has resigned. As the company shifts its focus to AI and robotics, more executives are leaving.

Cindy Palani, Tesla’s Vice President of Finance, posted on social media that after 17 years with the company, he will be departing. Palani has served as Vice President of Finance since 2021, having previously held roles in finance, engineering, and manufacturing at Tesla.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded, “Thank you for your outstanding contributions over the years!”

Musk expresses gratitude

Palani is another well-known executive to leave Tesla in recent years. Currently, the company is working on deploying autonomous taxis in more cities and producing humanoid robots. Due to weak demand in the U.S. market, increasing competition, and consumer resistance to Musk’s association with the Trump administration, Tesla’s core electric vehicle sales have declined for two consecutive years.

Other former Tesla executives include Musk’s longtime friend Omead Afshar, Vice President of Software Engineering David Lau, Milan Kovac, head of the Optimus robot project engineering, North American sales executive Troy Jones, and his successor Raj Jegannathan. (Author: Xiao Yu)
