Lockheed Martin has secured a $1.9 billion contract from the Pentagon to produce, modernize, and support C-130J Maintenance and Training System IV (JMATS IV) simulators. These training systems replicate cockpit controls and flying conditions, including weather disruptions and emergency situations, for C-130J Super Hercules crews. The work will be carried out in three phases and is expected to conclude by 2039, supporting various Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard installations globally.
